The Falls Resort Convention Centre and Conference Venues
The Falls Resort Convention Centre and Conference Venues, tastefully
decorated in African theme, offers a highly-sophisticated and
flexible conference venue; catering to a wide variety of international
and local functions, expertly co-ordinated conferences and themed
banquets. Dedicated and personal services from the convention
team will ensure that every event is a memorable world-class experience.
The Main Ballroom
Seats 450 delegates theatre style and 340 in schoolroom configuration.
It seats 360 for a banquet, which can be catered from the fully
equipped kitchen at the centre.
Kafue & Luangwa
The Zambezi Sun boasts 2 new boardrooms seating 10 and 12 delegates
respectively, as well as a Business centre offering Internet,
Faxing and Printing facilities from 08h00-23h00 everyday.
The Tonga &
Lozi
Situated close to the Day Activity Centre just next to Squires,
each of these venues seats 40 delegates cinema style and 30 delegates
schoolroom style.
Royal Livingstone
Boardroom
This magnificent colonial style boardroom situated in the lobby
of the Royal Livingstone Hotel is a small personal boardroom for
up to 12 people. Modern conveniences including audio-visual equipment.
CATERING VENUES
The Mukuni Boma
An authentic Boma, crafted in traditional Zambian manner, accommodates
a minimum of 60 and maximum of 300 people for an unforgettable
evening under Crystal African Skies. The Boma is located within
the resort, accessible by foot from both Hotels. Traditional entertainment
from the Marimba Band to Acrobats, Traditional Beer Brewers to
the Sangoma is available on request at an additional cost. The
smell of wood smoke, the taste of spit roasted venison and the
rumble of drums will capture this magical night under African
Skies.
David Livingstone
Boma
This boma is a new addition to the Falls Resort. Completed in
January 2003 by members from Mukuni Village, The David Livingstone
Boma is situated alongside the Mukuni Boma on the banks of the
river, overlooking the Zambezi River & Victoria Falls. This
venue offers a private Boma experience to groups’ minimum
of 20 and maximum of 100 people, with traditional African fare
prepared on open coal the fires. Traditional entertainment from
the Marimba Band to Acrobats, Traditional Beer Brewers to the
Sangoma is available on request at an additional cost.
The Kingfisher
Braai Site
A brand new site situated next to the bird hide, enclosed by Matepe
poles, it offers a private bar and overlooks it’s very own
pond with the lilting sound of frogs croaking to each other. The
perfect spot for a Private Barbeque or Braai, or possibly even
a Bush Dinner.
